This is exactly what MVP candidates are supposed to do. Prince Fielder is literally trying to single handedly club the Brewers into the postseason. Since returning home to Miller Park, Princey has clobbered three dingers. A three-run moonshot on Monday, and two, two-run blasts on Tuesday.
He became suddenly vocal about bettering a number of his father's numbers so it shuts his dad (Cecil) up. The Brewers remain quite a long shot to bypass the Cubs in the standings, but they certainly aren't going away quietly at home. Playing the Cardinals certainly has something to do with it, but they can ill afford to slip tonight and drop a very winnable game.
