In perhaps the biggest and most important news in Brew City Beat history, I am proud to report that Brothers Bar & Grill, the birth place of Thursday Night Sports Talk and countless formed friendships and many good (and not rememberd) times in La Crosse, WI, has opened for business on Water Street in downtown Milwaukee. It is located where O'Danny's and The Oak Barrell used to be located. Please, I urge all of you, if you do one thing for the rest of the summer, frequent this fantastic pub. You won't regret it.
Without Brothers in LaX, this blog and most likely Our Turn Next don't exist. I would probably be working for minimum wage at a grocery store, Garcia would be living out of a garage, Gaddis would have had a brief stint as an NFL GM, but would have been fired after two days after making Bob Sanders the top pick in the 2004 draft, thus falling into a tailspin and never recovering and Filzen would most certainly be in jail.
It's not just a bar, it's an experience.

Where Geoff and Pat on hand for the Ribbon cutting? Followed of course by Geoff making the strongest rum n cokes known to man, and Geoff giving in to endless badgering by Filzen and finally playing "Cheers"?
For the record, it was supposed to be "were" and Pat pouring the rum n cokes.
